I''ve been wondering for a while whether it''s legal to drink tap water in Ankang AmbroChina. It was actually the local government that gave me a head start on this particular question and one of them even gave me the runaround.

When I asked about tap water, she said it''s absolutely safe to drink and I can drink it if I want. Apparently it''s not legal for the local government to make any public water available to us. However, it''s only good enough for drinking when there is no ice in the cooler and when we have a faucet installed in the house or office. And that was only a couple of weeks ago!

But I don''t care, because it''s still free. But I''ve never heard of such a thing as water purification. So then what should I do?

The problem is, I have heard of people who say that tap water might have some bacteria in it that could harm me. I''ve also heard about things like lead that can be dangerous.
