As per the World Health Organization and UNICEF's 2017 report, 65% Population in Latin America and the Caribbean with access to safely managed drinking water. At the same time, whether it's safe to drink or not, most people in Latin America and the Caribbean get water piped into their homes, which gives other basic water needs like laundry and cleaning.
