Malaga''s water is supplied by the regional water company called Zamperla which has consistently delivered excellent quality water ever since it was granted permission to connect the Mijas and Figueres rivers. This is the case even today, even though there are many other treatment plants that supply the city with clean and safe water.

What most people don''t realize is that Tap Water Quality in Malaga is so good because this region sits on top of two large natural lakes that are fed by rainfall.
