I was therefore surprised when I learnt that the same could not be said for the water available from my tap! This is a major issue which is affecting many families in Bethlehem and other municipalities around the world at the moment.

Water stations have been built throughout the city to provide clean, purified water to residents. However, many people still prefer to buy bottled water instead of using public water services. Some are even concerned about the quality of the tap water. In response to this, the Bethlehem municipality has taken a bold step. It is providing free bottled water to every resident as part of an ongoing campaign called "Waste not, Want not Water".
